We are seeking a dedicated Specialty Dr in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry to work full‑time for our NHS client based in Winchester, Hampshire. This locum opportunity is available for an immediate start.

What will your responsibilities be?

This role involves working within a Community Mental Health Team (CMHT) and inpatient settings, providing specialist psychiatric care to children and adolescents. You will be responsible for conducting assessments, formulating treatment plans, and supporting the multidisciplinary team in delivering effective mental health services. The postholder will also participate in ward rounds, clinical meetings, and ensure documentation is maintained in accordance with NHS standards.

Qualifications

Experience:
  • GMC registration (essential)
  • Section 12 approval and Approved Clinician status (essential)
  • Experience in child and adolescent psychiatry, including CMHT and inpatient settings
  • Strong communication and clinical skills
  • A commitment to delivering high-quality, patient‑centred care
