Location: Winchester Service: Specialist Care

• Full time - Weekdays (7am - 5pm)
• Additional hours available on an overtime bank basis.

We are looking for a compassionate, reliable, and experienced Female Support Worker to join our Specialist Care team in Winchester. In this rewarding role, you will provide person-centred care to a young adult with complex needs, supporting them to lead independent, fulfilling, and meaningful lives. • Competitive pay: £13.20 – £14.75 per hour

No two days are the same – your role will include:

• Supporting with personal care and daily living tasks
• Assisting with cooking, cleaning, and household duties
• Supporting attendance at appointments and community activities
• Encouraging independence, confidence, and emotional wellbeing
• Supporting hobbies and interests (e.g. cooking, arts & crafts, music, gaming, dancing)
• Working with individuals with autism, learning disabilities, mental health needs, and complex care needs
• Using positive behaviour support and de-escalation techniques
• Working in environments where pets (including dogs) may be present

We are looking for someone who is:

• A female support worker
• Experienced in supporting individuals with complex needs
• Calm, resilient, and confident in challenging situations
• Passionate about person-centred care
• Supportive of independence and personal development
• Willing to learn and develop professionally
• Comfortable working in homes with pets
• A full UK driving licence holder (essential)
