The Role:

Our Projects and Programmes Team is a busy and dynamic change function, supporting the departments of the authority to deliver transformation, savings, and service improvements whilst working within formal governance structures and processes.
We’re seeking an IT Project Manager for a permanent contract, with significant skills and experience of managing end to end delivery of large, complex projects.
What you’ll do:You’ll help design and deliver digital services that support over a million residents, working on modern platforms, data-driven solutions, and secure, cloud-based technologies. As well as being the driving force behind project delivery, you'll be required to maintain a responsive and effective working relationship with colleagues and customers across the business representing and upholding the integrity and effectiveness of the IT Department.
What we’re looking for:You must be creative and innovative, with strong competence in financial management and ability to present and report to senior management. You will also be self-motivated and committed to ongoing personal development.
