Caretaker​/ Maintenance

1to1 Group have an opportunity for a caretaker/ maintenance assistant to join a fantastic organisation on the outskirts of Winchester. There is a possibility that for the right person this could become a permanent position. The successful applicant will be subject to an Enhanced Child DBS.
Day to day responsibilities:
Grounds maintenance (litter, sweeping leaves, clearing gullies and grates)
Refuse collection
Fire alarm testing
Maintenance works
Porterage (help set up events, set up and test AV equipment, rearrange furniture and deliveries)
Act as first aider and fire warden when required
Carry out locking and unlocking of buildings
Carry out day to day security and s on visitors
Required skills, experience in attributes:
Willingness to attain first aid and security qualifications
Experience in a similar position is essential (caretaker, security, maintenance)
Must hold drivers licence
Must be physically fit to lift parcels, furniture etc
Flexible approach to working hours
Be punctual and trustworthy
Ability to work as part of a team
