Our client, a well-established independent firm of Chartered Accountants in Winchester, is seeking an ACCA/ACA Qualified Accounts Manager to join their expanding team.

Renowned across Hampshire, the firm is looking to strengthen its presence in the mid-tier market. This role offers the opportunity to manage a diverse client portfolio, including limited companies, sole traders, and partnerships across a variety of sectors.

Role Overview:
This position is also suitable for Assistant Managers looking to step up into an Accounts Manager role, providing a clear pathway for career progression.

• Managing and supporting a portfolio of clients, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of accounts and tax compliance
• Leading, mentoring, and reviewing the work of junior staff, providing guidance where needed
• Collaborating with Partners on client advisory and general practice work
• Maintaining high-quality client service and fostering strong client relationships

• ACA/ACCA qualified or equivalent experience
• Experience in a general practice environment, managing accounts and tax for a diverse client base
• Strong leadership and mentoring abilities
• Excellent communication, organisation, and client management skills
• Ambitious and proactive, with a desire to progress into senior management
