Registered Mental Health Nurse – Older People's Mental Health (OPMH)

We are seeking a Band 5 Registered Mental Health Nurse (RMN) to provide high‑quality, person‑centred care to older adults with mental health needs (including dementia, depression, anxiety and psychosis) on our inpatient ward.

• Carry out assessments and develop/review care plans.
• Administer medication and manage medication safety.
• Identify and manage risks, maintain accurate records.
• Provide emotional and practical support to patients and families.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members.
• Promote dignity, independence and recovery.

• Registered Mental Health Nurse with NMC registration.
• Proficiency in computer systems (RiO).
• Excellent communication skills, resilience and sound clinical judgement.
• Ability to build therapeutic relationships and work in a busy ward setting.

Permanent, full‑time.

£32,073 to £39,043 a year (based on full‑time hours).
