Weekend Sales Assistant

Key Information

• 16‑20 year olds – £11.15 per hour.
• 21+ year olds – £12.71 per hour.

• Available to work both Saturday and Sunday.

As a Weekend Sales Assistant you will be responsible for:

• Deliver outstanding customer service, prioritising customers and delivering a great shopping experience.
• Sharing your knowledge about our product range and offering helpful advice to customers.
• Actively participate in demonstrating products and occasional character visit days.
• Process sales transactions accurately, securely and efficiently through the till.
• Maintain merchandising of toys to company standards.

Weekend shift schedule: 4‑hour shift on Saturday and 6‑hour shift on Sunday, for a 10‑hour contract. Flexible start and finish times may be required. Additional hours may be asked for especially during Christmas and school holidays.

I really enjoy merchandising all the new stock that comes in, pricing it up and making it easy for customers to shop - seeing that new toy go from the back of our wagon, through the stockroom and onto the shop floor and into the child’s hands to buy - is a really rewarding part of my job.

On weekends, we get to demonstrate our best sellers to the customers, blow bubbles out of the front door to recreate the magic that’s happening inside. I love being a Sales Assistant at The Entertainer!”
