Winchester, Southampton, Bournemouth & surrounding areas (occasional travel to Taunton)
Salary: £24/hour (CIS, Umbrella) - temp to perm role - perm salary upto £40k (£16-18 per hour PAYE)

Hours:

40 hours/week - Mon-Fri, 8:00-16:30

Contract:

3-month temp-to-perm

The Role

We're seeking experienced Roofers and Roofing-biased Multi-Trade Operatives to support a social housing maintenance programme across the South coast. You'll carry out a mix of roof repairs and general property maintenance, ensuring homes remain safe, dry, and well-maintained.

Your work will include:

Responsive roof repairs (tiles, slates, ridge, verge, flashing, felt, minor flat-roof work)

Diagnosing roof leaks in occupied social housing

Gutter, fascia and soffit repairs/replacement

Making properties weather-tight

Supporting with basic-mid-level multi-trade tasks, including:

Small carpentry repairs

Patch plastering

Basic plumbing fixes

Painting/decorating

Tiling repairs

General property upkeep

This role suits a roofer who can turn their hand to other trades OR a multi-skilled operative with strong roofing experience.

Skills & Trades (any of the following):

Roofing (essential for at least one position)

Carpentry

Basic plumbing

Tiling

Patch plastering

Decorating/painting

General maintenance/handyman skills

Proven experience in roofing or multi-trade maintenance

Comfortable working in occupied and void social housing properties
