HGV Sludge Driver

About The Role

We are looking for HGV Class 1 or Class 2 drivers to work full‑time on our wastewater contract, operating a vacuum tanker to transfer various non‑hazardous liquids from sites to disposal facilities across the regions. You will be provided with a phone and an app to outline the jobs assigned by the Operations Supervisor.

Requirements: a full HGV Class 1 or Class 2 UK drivers licence with CPC and an up‑to‑date digital tachograph card.

Location:

Working out of Harestock.

Hours:

5 in 7 days, 06:00 – 16:30 (50 hours per week).

Salary: £17 per hour.

• Operate HGV‑mounted vacuum and tankers for drainage and waste management tasks.
• Independently manage job sites, ensuring safe practices and high‑quality work.
• Communicate professionally with customers.
• Accurately complete job reports and system updates.
• Conduct daily vehicle checks and basic maintenance, reporting any faults promptly.
• Maintain high health and safety standards, including proper PPE use and regulatory compliance.

• HGV Class 1 or Class 2 driving licence.
• Valid CPC and up‑to‑date tachograph card.
