Driver Hire Southampton is currently recruiting for a reliable, motivated and hardworking Warehouse Operative to join one of our well-established and growing clients.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to secure a long-term, permanent position with a company that values its employees and offers opportunities to progress within the business.

Please note: Our client is planning to relocate to Stockbridge towards the end of the year
. This role is therefore particularly suited to candidates who are based in the Winchester/Andover area or those with their own transport and are happy to travel to the new location.

You will initially join the business within the packing department
, learning the operation from the ground up and gaining a thorough understanding of the company's products and processes.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Picking and packing customer orders accurately and efficiently.
• Booking in deliveries and checking incoming goods.
• Preparing orders for dispatch.
• Organising and replenishing warehouse stock.
• Carrying out regular stock counts and inventory checks.
• Maintaining a clean, safe and organised warehouse.
• Working as part of a team to achieve daily targets.
• Following company procedures and maintaining high standards of accuracy.
• Taking on additional responsibilities as you develop within the business.

Current location:

• Monday to Friday
• 08:00-18:00

Following relocation:

• Monday to Friday
• 09:00-18:00

• £33,000-£35,000 per annum.
• Monthly performance-related bonus after three months.
• 12-week temp-to-perm opportunity for the right candidate.
