AboutThe Position
Honey Car is growing, and we’re looking for a dedicated Truck Buyer who knows the full‑size pickup market inside and out. If you live and breathe F‑150s, Silverados, Rams, and other full‑size trucks, and enjoy being hands‑on at auctions, this role was built for you. This is a full‑time, in‑office position with regular travel to regional auto auctions. You’ll play a key role in sourcing high‑quality inventory that meets our pricing, condition, and market‑demand standards.
WhatYou’ll Do
- Source and purchase full‑size pickup trucks (Ford F‑150, Chevy Silverado, Ram 1500/2500, GMC Sierra, etc.)
- Attend in‑person auto auctions and evaluate vehicles for condition, value, and reconditioning needs
- Analyze market trends, pricing data, and resale performance to make informed buying decisions
- Work closely with leadership, inventory, and reconditioning teams to ensure fast turn and strong margins
- Manage post‑purchase documentation, titles, and inventory flow
- Maintain strong relationships with auction partners and vendors
- Experience buying vehicles, preferably trucks or high‑demand inventory
- Strong knowledge of the full‑size pickup market, trims, engines, and common issues
- Ability to accurately assess vehicle condition under time pressure
- Comfortable traveling to auctions and working in a fast‑paced environment
- Strong negotiation, decision‑making, and organizational skills
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record

- In‑office based in Winchester, VA
- On‑site presence at the job site is required
- Frequent travel to regional auctions
