HEAVY HIGHWAY CONSTRUCTION POSITIONS IN WINCHESTER, VA – Branch Civil (BCI) is seeking skilled, reliable, and experienced construction workers, operators, and professionals to join our team. We have a variety of opportunities in Winchester, VA. These future employee-owners will contribute to the Branch's successful completion of projects in the heavy civil construction industry, including highways and site development. We’re hiring Heavy Equipment Operators and other field operations roles.

• Follow project instructions from construction manager or supervisor
• Use construction and maintenance tools and equipment to complete daily tasks
• Follow all health and safety procedures on the job site and report violations immediately to management
• Safely operate a variety of tools including pressure washers, jackhammers, drills, pipe saws, grinders, jumping jack, plate compactor
• Ensure construction equipment and tools are cleaned and stored properly
• Comply with all BCI, OSHA, or other relevant safety rules and regulations
• Conduct all business with a professional and respectful attitude

• Positive attitude and work ethic
• Able to work independently or as an active member of a team
• Basic computer skills with iPad and MS Office experience
• CDL License with hazmat and tanker endorsements required within 60 days
• 2-3 years operator experience
• DOT experience preferred

The position lifts heavy objects, walks and stands for long periods of time and performs strenuous physical labor under adverse field conditions. The employee lifts, pushes, pulls or carries objects. The position requires good manual dexterity and the ability to move arms and legs quickly. The employee must frequently lift or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift or move up to 100 pounds.

This is a full-time position which will typically involve 40+ hours a week.
