Job Position: School Psychologist

Location: Winchester, VA

Birch Agency is seeking dedicated School Psychologists to join a collaborative, student-focused school team in Winchester, Virginia. This full-time, in-person opportunity allows you to play a vital role in supporting students’ academic achievement as well as their social, emotional, and behavioral well-being.

  School Psychologist
• Setting:
  School-based / In-person (1 middle school or 1 preschool)
• Schedule:
  
  Monday–Friday, 8-hour days
• Employment Type:
  
  Full-time

• Conduct student screenings, psycho educational evaluations, and assessments
• Monitor student progress and support data-driven decision-making
• Participate in the development and implementation of IEPs
• Assess risk factors and provide academic, behavioral, and mental health interventions
• Provide individual and group counseling services as appropriate
• Collaborate with teachers, families, and related service providers
• Participate in Response to Intervention (RTI) processes
• Attend IEP and eligibility meetings
• Maintain compliance with state and school evaluation requirements
• Complete thorough, accurate, and timely documentation and written reports

• Master’s or Doctoral degree in School Psychology (preferred)
• Active Virginia School Psychologist Certification (required)
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative, team-oriented mindset
