Summary
Primary responsibility is teaching History at the high school level.
QualificationsApplicants must be eligible for a Virginia teaching license with a History and Social Sciences. License eligibility may be met through any of the following routes:
- Completed an approved teacher preparation program in history;
- Hold a bachelor’s degree in history from an accredited institute
Rangebased on the Teacher Salary Scale is $53,000 - $82,243 with additional supplemental pay for a graduate degree. The salary scale may be adjusted based on the school board budget.
