- Grade 12 independent school, announces an immediate opening for a Physical Education Long-term Substitute.

This is a long-term substitute position. This is a temporary position. Compensation is based on experience. WT is closed from November 25-27 and from December 21-January 1.

• Teach physical education to Lower School students, health to Middle School students, and one student-run Middle School elective
• Plan and execute lessons, using varied methods of instruction and assessment, in accord with the School's educational philosophy
• Attend meetings as required
• Create and maintain an appropriate and organized classroom environment with an emphasis on student safety and well-being
• Communicate with parents as required
• Fulfill duties that are connected with non-academic responsibilities, including but not limited to, taking attendance, monitoring study halls, and other assigned duties
• Perform other duties as assigned

• Bachelor's degree in education or exercise science, or a related discipline
• Prior experience teaching physical education

• Experience teaching in independent schools
• Prior experience in project-based, experiential learning
