- Coordinate, monitor, plan, and design efforts for assigned project systems or facilities being constructed.
- Be fully responsible for the technical adequacy and accuracy of all electrical designs reviewed or designed.
- Engage in in-depth constructability reviews of design concepts, partial, final, and as-planned plans and specifications for complex multi-million-dollar overseas projects.
- Determine changes or modifications to types of operations and conditions under which U.S. and foreign equipment and integrated electrical systems will be used.
- Develop original plans, design analyses, and specifications for complex electrical features of design work accomplished in-house.
- Proof of U.S. Citizenship required.
- Resume may be submitted in any format; it must support the specialized experience described in the announcement.
- Appointment may be subject to a suitability or fitness determination, as determined by a completed background investigation.
- Permanent Change of Station allowances may be authorized subject to the Joint Travel Regulations and agency determination that a PCS move is in the Government Interest.
- Position may require travel up to 15% of duty time.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license required. Submit a copy of your license or certification with your application package, otherwise you will be deemed ineligible.
License in Electrical Engineering is desired.
