We operate online and in 38+ retail stores and multiple manufacturing facilities across the U.S.
As an Art Technician you will play a crucial role in the custom framing process. You will use tech to read and receive orders, ensure accurate measurements, color and style selections, and conduct final quality checks. You will apply hardware to assembled picture and art frames, affix paintings, photographs, or prints onto support surfaces, and meticulously assemble various components of the artwork.
Responsibilities- Document customer framing preferences and measurements.
- Ensure compatibility of art with chosen frames and mount boards.
- Support mat orders and cross‑train to framing and mounting processes.
- Escalate customer artwork or order questions to customer experience and leadership teams.
- Prepare and mount art pieces per customer specifications.
- Meticulously assemble fine artwork pieces to stringent quality standards.
- Review work orders and execute precise mounting procedures.
- Use hand tools and computer systems for documentation and application.
- Trim surrounding materials to protect artwork.
- Leverage visual‑spatial skills for aesthetically pleasing presentation.
- Meet production and quality goals to support Framebridge’s business needs.
- Acute attention to detail and commitment to craftsmanship.
- Strong aesthetic sense and appreciation for art integrity.
- Adaptable in a fast‑paced, changing environment.
- Proficient with measuring tools for accuracy.
- Strong problem‑solving, time‑management, and creativity.
