• Assignment Length: 13-week travel nursing contract

• Facility: 495-bed Level II Trauma Center

• Shift: 12-hour night shifts (6:45 PM – 7:15 AM), 3 shifts/week

• Hours per Week: 36

• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,780 - $1,910

• Weekend Requirement:
Every other weekend

• Holiday Requirement:
Every other holiday (limited holiday time off may be considered)

Registered Nurse Qualifications

• Active RN license in Virginia or Compact State (Virginia nursing jobs)

• Minimum 2 years of recent Med/Surg Telemetry (Cardiac) nursing experience

• Proficiency with EPIC EMR system

• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS

• Ability to float to Medical Telemetry, MIU, and overflow units as needed

• Strong communication and critical thinking skills
Med/Surg Telemetry RN Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to Med/Surg Telemetry and cardiac patients

• Monitor, assess, and document patient status using EPIC EMR

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans

• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed

• Educate patients and families on care plans and health management

• Float to designated units to support clinical staffing needs

• Maintain compliance with hospital policies and safety standards
