American Traveler is hiring an RN for a Med/Surg Tele Float Pool position requiring 2+ years of cardiac/Tele Med Surg experience and prior travel assignment experience.

• Float Pool position within a 495-bed acute care facility
• Patient population consists of acute care Med/Surg and Telemetry patients
• Average patient ratio of 1:7
• Uses EPIC EMR, required experience
• Day shift schedule, 3x12's from 6:45a to 7:15p
• Every other weekend and holiday rotation required
• Float to other units required
• No on-call requirements
• No block scheduling accommodated

• Active RN license (VA State or Compact) required
• Current certifications: BLS and ACLS (AHA only), with NIH Stroke Scale also required
• Minimum 2 years of Med Surg/Telemetry experience required
• Cardiac nursing experience required
• Prior travel nursing experience required
• EPIC EMR experience required

• Care for acute care patients within a Level II Trauma Center
• Facility has earned an "A" grade in Patient Safety for 9 consecutive years
• Navy blue scrubs required per facility dress code policy
• Up to 3 days of preapproved time off permitted, excluding holidays
• May request one holiday off, with a maximum of two days considered for holiday RTO
• Candidates residing within a 50-mile radius will be considered in place of the standard 65-mile radius rule
• Candidates must be well qualified with all required experience
