American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Med/Surg Tele Float Pool night shift position requiring Cardiac experience and a VA or compact RN license.
Details- Float Pool position requiring floating to other units
- Acute care patient population with Med/Surg and Telemetry needs
- Patient ratios average 1:7
- EMR: EPIC experience required
- Night shift schedule, 3x12's (6:45pm-7:15am)
- Every other weekend and holiday requirement
- No on-call requirements
- No block scheduling accommodated
- Active VA or compact RN license required
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications from AHA only, with no certifications expiring within first 30 days of start
- Minimum 2 years of Tele Med/Surg experience required
- Cardiac experience required
- Previous travel experience required
- Work in a 495-bed, Level II Trauma Center facility with at least 30 beds per unit
- Facility has earned an 'A' grade in Patient Safety for 9 consecutive years
- Navy blue scrubs required per facility dress code policy
- Holiday RTO limited to one holiday off, no more than two days considered
- Up to 3 days preapproved time off allowed, excluding holidays
- Candidates considered within a 50 mile radius instead of standard 65 mile radius rule
