Rhino Medical is leading the charge seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for ongoing Hospital Medicine coverage in Winchester, Virginia. This is a dedicated daytime inpatient opportunity within a mature regional hospitalist program, offering substantial physician support and a closed ICU environment.

Schedule

• 7:00 AM–7:00 PM
• Dedicated day coverage
• Ongoing locum tenens need
• Start once credentialed
• Inpatient Hospital Medicine

Practice Environment

• Adult inpatient Hospital Medicine
• Closed ICU
• Epic EMR
• Level II Trauma environment
• Collaborative multidisciplinary practice
• Established daytime Hospital Medicine team
• Regional referral setting

Daytime Coverage

• 9 rounding physicians | 7A–7P
• 2 admitting physicians | 12P–10P and 2P–12A
• 1 NP/PA | 7A–7P

The facility's average daily census is approximately 222 patients; this represents the overall facility census, not an individual NP/PA patient load.

Requirements

• Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
• Active, unrestricted Virginia NP or PA license
• Appropriate national certification
• Active DEA
• Minimum 2 years of Hospital Medicine experience
• Current BLS
• Current ACLS
• Strong inpatient Hospital Medicine background
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
• Epic experience preferred
