- Previous cooking experience, preferably in healthcare, senior living, or hospitality settings.
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation standards.
- Attention to detail and a passion for preparing high‑quality meals.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Creativity, reliability, and a positive attitude.
- Ability to speak and read English.
- Prepare and cook meals according to planned menus, recipes, and dietary requirements.
- Ensure food is presented attractively and served at the appropriate temperature.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen and work area at all times.
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and infection control policies and procedures.
- Monitor food inventory and assist with receiving and storing deliveries.
- Collaborate with dietary staff to accommodate special diets and resident requests.
- Assist in cleaning dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment as needed.
- Communicate effectively with team members and residents to ensure a positive dining experience.
- Adhere to all regulatory and organizational standards.
- Earn up to 5 weeks of PTO in your first year!
