Service Technician - Winchester

Winchester Equipment Co., is seeking a skilled and experienced Service Technician / Heavy Equipment Mechanic to join our growing team in Winchester, VA. We sell,rent and service industry‑leading Kubota agricultural, Bobcat compact equipment, Toyota material handling and Stihl outdoor power equipment, along with various top‑of‑the‑line equipment used in commercial, residential and agricultural projects.

As a Service Technician, you will perform diagnostic, maintenance and repair work on compact equipment including skid steers, compact track loaders, excavators, tractors and related equipment. This hands‑on role is ideal for someone with strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills who take pride in high‑quality workmanship and enjoys working in a fast‑paced, team‑focused environment.

• Diagnose, troubleshoot and repair Bobcat and other compact construction equipment
• Perform scheduled maintenance, hydraulic and electrical repairs and component replacements
• Maintain shop tools and equipment in safe working condition
  
  Accurately complete service reports and communicate repair needs to service advisors and customers

• 2 – 4 years of experience as a Service Technician, Diesel Mechanic or Heavy Equipment Mechanic (Bobcat, Kubota, Caterpillar, John Deer or similar brands preferred)
• Technical or vocational training in diesel, mechanical or heavy equipment repair a plus
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and work safely in a shop or field service environment
• Must provide personal tools for use
• Strong diagnostic and problem‑solving skills with attention to detail
