Physician Assistant

Exciting Full‑Time Physician Assistant Opportunity in Athens, GA!

Main Street Family Care is growing and we are looking to hire a fast, fun, and friendly Physician Assistant (PA) to join our team full time. You will provide patient‑focused care in a high‑volume urgent care environment.

• Diagnosing and treating upper respiratory illnesses such as cold, flu, strep, COVID, and other respiratory issues.
• Performing minor procedures including toenail removal and foreign‑object removal.
• Suturing, splinting, and general orthopedic evaluations/management.
• Reviewing x‑rays (with radiologist over‑reading).
• Providing general dermatology, eye problem, and EKG interpretation services.
• Managing emergencies and utilizing general gynecologic expertise.
• Treating patients of all ages, including occupational medicine and telemedicine support.

Clinic Hours (extended, 7‑days a week):

• Monday – Friday: 8:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m.
• Saturday and Sunday: 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.

Rotating schedules (alternating weekends):

• Week 1:
  Monday (ON), Tuesday (ON), Wednesday (OFF), Thursday (OFF), Friday (ON), Saturday (ON), Sunday (ON).
• Week 2:
  Monday (OFF), Tuesday (OFF), Wednesday (ON), Thursday (ON), Friday (OFF), Saturday (OFF), Sunday (OFF).

• Physician Assistant Board Certification required.
• MSN or higher education; new graduates are welcome.
• DOT certification or willingness to become DOT certified (cost covered).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience with EMR and Microsoft Office suite.
