Location:
2 Oak Street, Windermere, LA23 1EN
Pay: £13.04 per hour
Contract:
16 hours per week + regular overtime, 4‑month seasonal temporary contract, part time
Working pattern: A mix of opening, closing, and mid‑day shifts, with flexibility across the week including at least 2 evening shifts and 1 weekend shift. Either Friday after 6 pm, any shift on Saturday, or Sunday. We’re happy to discuss your availability further at interview.
Full, paid training provided.
What you’ll do- Friendly and thoughtful service – put customers first in everything you do: responding to queries, championing Co‑op products and Membership, and doing all you can to deliver a great shopping experience.
- Support your store colleagues – work together to solve problems for customers and members.
- Ensure the store is safe and compliant – keep shelves stocked and make sure prices, dates, and temperatures are all as they should be.
- Introduce new products and services – share experiences with colleagues so everyone learns together.
- Support your local community – get involved in activities and events.
- Must be aged 18 or over (shifts may be before 6 am, after 10 pm, or other business‑related needs).
- A genuine care for the needs of customers and members.
- Great people skills, able to build positive relationships with customers and colleagues.
- A positive approach to change and problem solving.
- Flexibility to work a range of different shifts.
