Physician (Hospitalist)
Location: Windham Community Memorial Hospital

- Provide internal medicine services to adult patients admitted to the hospital.
- Attend to medical needs of patients, admit them, plan and implement patient treatment programs, and participate in rounds.
- Work closely with referring physicians to assure effective communication and optimize patient care.
- Develop and maintain high‑quality hand‑off systems between the hospital medicine service and others involved in patient care, combining written, electronic, and verbal communication.
- Actively participate in and help develop new programs, patient care activities, and systems of care.
- U.S. M.D. or D.O. degree or its foreign equivalent.
- Completion of a U.S. medical residency in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine.
- Board eligibility or certification in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine.
- Possession of or eligibility for an unrestricted Connecticut medical license.
