PositionSummary
Performs technical procedures associated with the application of cardiac ultrasound for the diagnosis of disease or injury. Provides patient services, neonatal through geriatric, using imaging modalities in an efficient professional manner and with sensitivity to patient needs. Accurately documents, files and maintains patient record. May also perform other various duties pertaining to the Department of Cardiology.
Qualifications- Graduate of Echocardiography program accredited by the Committee on Allied Health Education
- Two (2) years experience in a hospital setting.
- Board certified by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) or Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) or provide proof of eligibility to obtain and maintain certification
- Ability to obtain and maintain Basic Life Support (BLS) within 90 days of hire.
