Machine Operators are responsible for continuously monitoring and maintaining product quality based on established standards including visual and mechanical inspection of product, as well as work in a safe manner at all times following all safety policies and procedures. Performing setups in accordance with established procedure, operating, and loading/unloading equipment. Work from written and verbal instructions, procedures and work orders are also required.

** Pay:** $23.05- $27.83 per hour
** Shift:
** Hiring for 2nd and 3rd shift
** Off Shift Differentials**: $1/hour for second shift and $1.50/hour for third shift

Duties & Responsibilities:

** Maintaining and logging all information required supporting traceability and quality, participating in cross-training activities, maintaining work area and equipment in a clean orderly condition, and performing other duties as required or directed.

* Qualifications:

* Required:

*** High school diploma, GED.
* Ability to prioritize and pay close attention to detail.
* Frequent lifting, pushing, pulling, squatting, stooping, and bending is required.
* Must be able to work independently and distinguish colors.
* Must be able to use and read a micrometer.
* The ability to demonstrate your mechanical and computer skills.
* Must have good English skills in reading, writing and communicating.
* Must be able to work in a team environment and to work overtime as the need arises.
* Must be able to pass background check, drug test, and physical.
** Preferred:
*** Prior manufacturing experience.
* Prior extrusion experience preferred.
* Wire drawing/extrusion/cabling experience.
** Work Environment/Physical Demands:
*** Will be required to stand, walk, and bend frequently.
* Occasionally lifting < 10pounds as needed.
* Occasionally required to lift and carry objects of 10-30 pounds as needed.
* Occasionally required to push and pull reels.
* Employee will be required to work productively and cooperatively in a high-volume, fast paced, highly pressured environment and be able to respond efficiently and courteously to unanticipated problems and crisis.
