Night shift RN 7p-7a, every other weekend and rotating holidays.

A Registered Nurse who, through knowledge and ability, utilizes the nursing process to develop a plan of care which includes activities to meet the physical, psych-social, spiritual, cultural, educational, and developmental needs.

As a member of a collaborative, multidisciplinary care team, you will provide skilled, compassionate care in a 30‑bed medical‑surgical and telemetry unit, with additional step‑down/PCU and orthopedic beds. Your duties include nursing assessment, planning, intervention, evaluation, and coordination of care for patients in the unit.

• Working knowledge of nursing process and customer service principles.
• National certification in specialty preferred.
• Acute care hospital experience preferred.
• IV skill preferred.
• Secondary language skills preferred.

• Medical Surgical units and PCU:
  Current BLS certification.
• Currently certified in ACLS or completion within 3 months of employment.
• PCU training required after 6 months of hire for new graduates; or 3 months for experienced RNs, or successful completion of BKAT.

Must possess current CT RN licensure or be in the process of obtaining the same and be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
