Occupational Therapist (OT) Unique 1:1 Compensatory Project

Location: Bridgton, ME (In-Person)

Student: 13-year-old male

Schedule: Flexible/Part-Time (Before/After School or Weekends)

Overview

We are looking for a dedicated Occupational Therapist for a unique, one-on-one compensatory service project in Bridgton, ME. The student recently relocated from Virginia, and his previous district is providing funding for a specific "bucket" of hours to be completed by August 2026. This is an ideal role for a clinician looking for supplemental income with total schedule control. Services will take place in a designated classroom/clinic space provided by the local district.

Project

Scope & Hours

This is a fixed-hour contract. You have until August 2026 to complete the following:

  • OT Services: 2 Hours Total.
  • Social/Emotional/Behavioral Goals: 50 Hours Total.
  • Total Project: 52 Hours.

Flexibility: Because these are compensatory services, they will likely take place outside of standard school hours (mornings or late afternoons). You can coordinate directly with the family to set a schedule that works for both of you.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver targeted OT interventions focusing on the student’s specific social, emotional, and behavioral goals.
  • Work in a 1:1 setting within a provided district classroom/clinic space.
  • Track and document hours meticulously for reimbursement by the funding district (Stafford County, VA).
  • Collaborate with the family and (potentially) the SLP and SPED providers assigned to this student’s case.
Requirements
  • Licensure:
Active Maine State Occupational Therapy License.
  • Setting: 100% On-site in Bridgton, ME (No Teletherapy/Voco).
  • Experience:

Strong background in behavioral intervention and social-emotional learning (SEL) for adolescents (middle school age).
  • Reliability:
Ability to commit to seeing the project through to completion of the hour bucket.
Compensation
  • Competitive Hourly Rate:
We are open to discussing your preferred hourly rate for this unique contract.
  • Stable Funding:
Hours are pre-authorized and guaranteed through the funding agreement.
