Senior Quality Engineer Materials Review Board (MRB)

Join Quest Global as a Senior Quality Engineer on the Materials Review Board (MRB). This on‑site role is located in Windsor Locks, CT.

• Under the general direction of the Quality Assurance Manager, monitor, coordinate, and sustain systemic parameters to streamline and maximize the effectiveness of the MRB process.
• Lead the identification, processing, disposition, and communication of nonconforming material and associated MRB activities to ensure minimal impact on production schedules and support material throughput throughout the facility.
• Perform material movement transactions in the SAP system, perform manufacturing shop floor sweep activities, and coordinate MRB review meetings and dispositions within a cross‑functional team.
• Monitor and track MRB information within spreadsheets and databases, support quality trending and data analysis, and evaluate and trend root causes of scrap material to make systemic improvements.
• Review Quality Notifications (QN’s) to provide recommended disposition to repairs, scrap, and return to vendor on nonconforming material and coordinate temporary deviation requests.

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering or equivalent is required.
• 8–10 years of related experience with a broad knowledge of engineering principles, shop fabrication sequences, structural design, and machining methods.
• Experience with SAP, project management, critical thinking, time management, and detail orientation.
• Prior experience in a Material Review Board role is a plus.
• U.S. citizenship or permanent resident status is required.

$75.00 – $80.00 per hour.

This is an on‑site position in Windsor Locks, CT. You must be able to commute to the location and be able to lift up to 40 lbs.
