ERP Analyst– CO​/Product Costing​/Project Systems; Hybrid

Overview

Position: ERP Business Analyst – Controlling / Project Systems Professional. Hybrid role based in United States. U.S. citizenship required. Use S/4

HANA solution.

• Support end‑to‑end Controlling process areas including cost center accounting, profit center accounting, revenue recognition, product costing, project systems, profitability analysis and period‑end close.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams (planning, bill of materials, routings, MRP, external procurement) to design and implement solutions that leverage S/4
  
  HANA, aligning with Collins operating model and industry best practices.
• Support collection and distribution of labor via SAP CATS integration into FI/CO and project systems; understand activity types and rates.
• Familiarity with SAP S/4 universal allocations, overhead application via costing sheets to multiple cost objects (cost centers, sales orders, production orders, service orders, WBS, IPM).
• Collaborate with business, digital and cross‑functional teams to understand business requirements and provide guidance on effective ERP usage.
• Finance acumen: strong understanding of finance and controlling processes, program management, and government or financial reporting requirements; knowledge of maintenance, repair and overhaul and advanced manufacturing costing.
• Support creation of new and innovative solutions to support digital and business strategies.
• Support evaluation of bolt‑on application options and make recommendations based on functional requirements and industry best practices.
• Assist data team and process teams in data mapping activities and testing.
• Document common solutions including configuration documents, process flows and data policies.
• Deliver functional specifications for forms, reports, enhancements, conversion programs, integrations and workflows as part of program scope.

• University degree and minimum 8 years relevant experience (or advanced degree and minimum 5 years).
• U.S. citizenship required.
• 10+ years finance acumen: strong understanding of finance processes including master data, allocations, FP&A, financial reporting, results analysis, payroll, period close & consolidation, costing, project accounting.
• 7+ years SAP configuration and implementation experience in FI/CO modules – cost center accounting, profit center accounting, product costing, intercompany accounting and cross‑functional integration to controlling module.
• Experience with SAP systems including system configuration, data management and reporting capabilities.
• Must be okay with travel up to 50% when needed.
