Parts Authority, founded in 1973, is one of the country’s largest distributors of automotive and truck parts.

• Assist the department supervisor with daily planning and guiding staff to complete picking mandates efficiently and timely.
• Handle department demands, expectations, deadlines, administrative duties, troubleshoot, and problem‑solve.
• Ensure team members follow proper procedures, enforce safety practices, and meet productivity and quality goals.
• Maintain excellent cross‑functional and interdepartmental communication with all required departments.
• Direct and oversee the delegation and follow‑up of skips and zeros.
• Keep track of daily reports and problem areas, working directly with picking and inventory supervisors to correct concerns.
• Monitor systems and emails frequently to ensure good communication and customer satisfaction.
• Keep work areas clean and clear of safety hazards.

• Good flexibility for work hours availability and can work weekends.
• 6+ months experience with supervisory, team‑lead, or skip‑picker knowledge.
• Picking experience.
• High School Diploma/GED.
• Read, write, and understand English (Spanish is a plus).
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Attention to detail with strong organizational skills.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds and operate material‑handling equipment including forklift trucks and pallet jacks.
• Maintain and promote workplace safety.
• Securing and transferring cash or other assets.
