Security Officer - Logistics Patrol Agent Unarmed in WINDSOR LOCKS , CT is a Part‑Time position where you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an unarmed patrol officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas to deter security‑related incidents while maintaining a visible presence.

You will interact with employees and visitors, providing exceptional customer service and clear communication.

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $19.22 / Hour

Job Schedule: Saturdays and Sundays 12:00 AM – 08:00 AM

• Provide customer service by following security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and responding to emergencies as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem‑solving manner, supporting the needs of the location.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the logistics and distribution location, including the business interior and perimeter, to deter unauthorized activity.
• Observe and report any security‑related irregularities or incidents encountered during patrols.
• Communicate with site personnel and visitors to provide assistance and information as required.
• Complete required documentation and incident reports accurately and promptly.
• Work collaboratively with Allied Universal team members and site contacts to maintain a secure and orderly environment.

• A Transportation Security Administration issued Transportation Worker Identification Credential is required.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
