Responsibilities

Basic Function – Assist in the day‑to‑day management of a shuttle operation, ensuring compliance with contractual guidelines, company policies, and procedures, fostering client relations, and promoting a professional image.

  • Participate in programs to improve client and customer satisfaction.
  • Assist with the management of day‑to‑day activities of the assigned locations.
  • Assist with management duties as assigned.
  • Courteously assist customers.
  • Assist in the maintenance and repair of equipment and any general maintenance tasks as directed by the Facility Manager.
  • Report any known accidents, observed or suspected violations of Company policy, safety hazards or any unusual occurrence to the Facility Manager.
  • Assist with cleanup of debris, water, oil spills and other hazards; substitute for any position if necessary.
  • Have a thorough knowledge of all areas of the shuttle operation, transportation route, major streets, landmarks and freeways in the area of the garage.
  • Complete other duties as needed.
Qualifications

  • Education/

    Experience:

    Minimal high school diploma or equivalent and a minimal month related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Prior supervisory experience with a DOT‑regulated shuttle operation preferred.
  • License Requirement: Maintain a valid CDL Class A or B Driver’s License with Passenger Endorsement if responsible for operating shuttle buses with a capacity of 15 passengers or more.
  • DOT Medical Card: A Medical Examiner’s Certificate (DOT Medical Card) is required.
  • Availability to Work: Availability for 2nd shift, 3rd shift and/or weekends may be required depending on hiring needs.
  • Oral Communication: Speaks clearly; listens and clarifies; responds well to questions.
  • Written Communication: Writes clearly and informatively; reads and interprets written information.
  • Customer Service: Maintains a positive attitude and responds to requests for service.
  • Adaptability: Adapts to changes in the work environment and handles delays or unexpected events.
  • Judgment: Exhibits sound and accurate judgment.
  • Physical Demands: Frequently sit, stand, walk, use hands and fingers, handle objects, talk; occasionally climb or balance; stoop, kneel or crouch; lift or move up to 25 pounds; have adequate vision for close and peripheral focus.
Salary Range

$28.00 – $29.00 per hour
