We are looking for a detail-oriented
Senior Accountant
to join our finance team and play a critical role in supporting both companies. This position will report to the Controller and will maintain accurate financial records, support monthly and annual financial reporting, ensure regulatory compliance, and assist with budgeting and forecasting. The ideal candidate will bring strong analytical skills, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate effectively across multiple teams.

• Manage month-end close activities, including journal entries, accruals, reconciliations, and financial reporting for multiple entities.
• Prepare monthly financial statements, cash flow reports, and key reporting packages for Controller review.
• Perform bank, balance sheet, and intercompany reconciliations while ensuring the accuracy of general ledger activity.
• Support budgeting, sales forecasting, labor tracking, and financial analysis to aid business decision-making.
• Partner with Accounts Receivable to monitor aging, credit exposure, collections, and customer billing reconciliations.
• Assist with sales tax filings, 1099 reporting, property tax compliance, and other regulatory requirements.
• Support year-end close, external audits, tax preparation, and compliance reporting activities.
• Maintain fixed asset records, depreciation schedules, and organized accounting documentation.
• Collaborate across departments to improve processes, strengthen controls, and support overall financial operations.

• A bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance related field
• Minimum 5 years of progressive accounting experience
• Experience with full-cycle accounting and month-end close
• Experience supporting external audits, tax preparation, and compliance reporting
• Multi-entity accounting experience preferred
• Experience in equipment rental, construction, manufacturing, distribution, or related industries preferred
• Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting principles
• Advanced account reconciliation and financial analysis skills.
• Experience with accrual accounting, fixed assets, and intercompany transactions.
• Proficient with Quick Books Online, Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Teams, Excel)
• Knowledge of sales tax compliance and regulatory reporting
