You will collaborate within Baker Tilly Advantage, supporting small and mid-sized enterprises. Your responsibilities will include achieving peak performance through accurate financial operations, compliance filings, and insightful reporting using cloud technology like Quick Books Online and Xero.
Key Responsibilities:
• Execute full-cycle bookkeeping responsibilities, including A/R and A/P
• Conduct month-end close procedures and financial reconciliations
• Handle payroll and year-end slip preparations
• Ensure timely filing of HST/GST and other returns
• Create management reporting that is actionable and clear
Requirements:
• At least 1 year of relevant accounting experience
• Educational background in Accounting or Finance
• Knowledge of cloud accounting software (QBO, Xero)
• Proficient Excel skills, including data analysis
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
