Job Overview
IIQAF Group is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounts Payable Clerk to join our growing healthcare finance team in Canada. The ideal candidate will manage invoice processing, vendor payments, financial record keeping, and accounts payable reconciliation while ensuring compliance with healthcare accounting standards and internal financial controls.

Key Responsibilities
Process high-volume vendor invoices, purchase orders, and expense reports
Verify invoice accuracy and ensure proper GL coding and approvals
Perform three-way matching (invoice, PO, delivery receipt)
Prepare and process electronic payments, cheques, and wire transfers
Reconcile accounts payable ledger and vendor statements
Maintain accurate financial records and documentation
Support month-end closing, accruals, and financial reporting
Ensure compliance with Canadian accounting standards and healthcare regulations
Communicate with vendors and internal departments regarding payment inquiries
Required
Skills & Qualifications
Proven experience as an Accounts Payable Clerk, AP Officer, or Finance Assistant
Strong knowledge of accounts payable processes and financial reporting
Familiarity with accounting software (SAP, Oracle, Quick Books, or similar ERP systems)
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
Understanding of Canadian accounting principles and compliance standards
Strong communication and organizational skills
Preferred Qualifications
Diploma or degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration
Experience in hospital or healthcare accounting environments
Knowledge of GST/HST processing and financial compliance in Canada
