Job Description
Responsible for managing day-to-day financial transactions, maintaining accurate financial records, and supporting the overall accounting operations of the organization. This role plays a key part in ensuring the financial health and compliance of the company.

Financial & Accounting Duties

Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records

Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions

Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards and general ledger accounts

Prepare and issue invoices and payment records

Record journal entries and maintain supporting documentation

Assist with monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial reporting

Support budgeting and cash flow tracking

Prepare HST/GST filings and assist with payroll remittances where applicable

Coordinate with external accountants during audits and year-end preparation

Administrative Responsibilities

Maintain organized digital and physical financial files

Respond to vendor and internal accounting inquiries

Assist with process improvements and implementation of accounting procedures

Ensure confidentiality and compliance with company policies and financial regulations

Qualifications

Diploma in Accounting, Bookkeeping, Finance, or a related field

Minimum three (3) years of full-cycle bookkeeping experience

Strong knowledge of bookkeeping principles and accounting practices

Experience with accounting software such as Quick Books, Sage or similar platforms

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office Suite

Experience handling multiple accounts, entities, or cost centers is considered an asset
