Cost Accountant

Position: Cost Accountant Opportunity
Join our team in Windsor, ON, as a Cost Accountant in the automotive manufacturing sector, with a salary range of $90,000-$120,000. This full-time, on-site/hybrid role emphasizes job costing and financial management.

In this hands-on position, we're looking for a Senior Cost Accountant with at least five years of manufacturing experience. You will be responsible for job/project costing, analyzing cost variances, and providing financial insights to support plant operations. There is a significant opportunity for career advancement into a Controller or Finance Lead role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage job/project costing involving labour and overhead

• Analyze cost variances and improve cash flow

• Provide essential financial insights for plant operations

• Assist in monthly close and inventory valuation tasks

• Oversee AR processes, invoicing, and collections

Requirements:

• Accounting degree necessary

• Minimum 5 years of experience in manufacturing

• Expertise in cost accounting and job costing

• Exposure to plant accounting practices

• Strong skills in Advanced Excel and ERP systems
