Elevate your accounting career as an Accounts Payable Clerk in Windsor, ON, covering maternity leave. This role focuses on invoice management, reconciliation, and collaboration with internal teams.
The AP Clerk will operate under the guidance of the Accounting Manager for a period of 12 to 18 months. Your responsibilities will include reviewing invoices, maintaining organized files, and ensuring timely payments. Strong communication with suppliers and project managers is critical in this role.
Key Responsibilities:
• Review, verify, and enter accounts payable invoices
• Match invoices with related purchase orders
• Maintain organized filing systems, both physical and digital
• Collaborate with internal teams to streamline processes
• Manage weekly payment schedules and remittances
Requirements:
• Degree or diploma in Accounting preferred
• At least one year of relevant accounting experience
• Basic understanding of bookkeeping principles
• Strong skills in Microsoft Office and Excel
• Excellent attention to detail with tight deadlines
