Our client, a leading Tier 1 manufacturing supplier is looking for a Senior Financial Analyst to join their team (a team of 8 across all Ontario locations) at their facility in Windsor. This role supports finance and operational activites across multiple manufacturing plants in Ontario. The position is responsible for plant accounting, financial reporting, internal controls, cost accounting, budgeting, and operational financial analysis within an automotive manufacturing environment.
The position reports to the Corporate Controller.
NOTE:
- Day shift
- 100% onsite
- Up to 20% travel to clients locations in Ontario
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Managing month‑end close activities, journal entries, and monthly/quarterly reporting for both internal reporting and Stellantis corporate requirements
- Completing and approving balance sheet reconciliations in accordance with Stellantis reconciliation standards
- Reviewing plant spending against budget and approving purchase requisitions within company authority guidelines
- Overseeing the standard costing system, including Bills of Materials (BOMs), inventory control, variance reporting, and annual cost roll updates
- Supporting new business quoting activities through costing and profitability analysis
- Assisting with annual budgeting, forecasting, and maintaining financial models
- Performing daily, weekly, and monthly financial performance analysis and reporting operational results versus budget
- Managing fixed asset accounting, reconciliations, asset additions/disposals, and shop‑floor asset tracking
- Supporting plant continuous improvement projects, audits, and other ad‑hoc financial initiatives
REQUIRED SKILLS &
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration. CPA designation preferred
- 5–10 years of finance experience, including at least 3 years in automotive manufacturing
- Strong communication, organizational, and analytical skills
- Advanced Excel and experience with financial systems such as T4M and IFW (or other ERP equivalent systems)
- Ability to work independently in a fast‑paced production environment
- Professional and a collaborative, solution‑focused mindset
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:
- $70,000 - $90,000 / year depending on experience
