Detailer – ACX Windsor, Windsor, ON
Classification: Full‑Time, Immediate Hire
Salary: $18.00–$20.00/hour
The Detailer is responsible for cleaning and detailing vehicles to dealership standards, ensuring both the interior and exterior are in excellent condition for customer delivery. This role supports the service team by maintaining a clean, organized workspace and following safety protocols while providing high‑quality service.
Key Responsibilities- Detail the interior and exterior of customer vehicles
- Perform general car detailing activities, including vacuuming, deodorizing, and washing
- Ensure the exterior of cars is clean and smudge‑free
- Detail interiors, wipe dash, vacuum and wash floor mats
- Apply paint sealant
- Clean and polish wheels and rims
- Use a variety of hand‑held tools to detail the interior and exterior of cars
- Notify supervisor or appropriate technician when parts require repair or replacement
- Complete quality control checklist
- Perform other repair duties as required
- High school diploma or GED
- Experience as an automotive detailer is an asset
- Interest in automotive industry and knowledge about vehicles
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Ability to drive automatic and manual transmission vehicles
- Experience working with cleaning products and tools including power washers is an asset
- Dependable, reliable, strong attention to detail and prioritization skills
- Ability to meet physical demands such as heavy lifting, standing for long periods, using power tools and hand‑held equipment
- Excellent customer service skills
