Automotive Detailer - Seasonal Part Time Truck

Overview

Enterprise Mobility is seeking a responsible, dedicated person to join our team as an Automotive Detailer for our trucking branch. This seasonal part‑time position pays $18.25 per hour and is located at 2565 DOUGALL AVE, 3, WINDSOR, ON N8X 1T5.

Contract length: 180 days.

• Tuesday – Thursday: 7:30 am – 5:00 pm
• Saturday: 8:00 am – 12:30 pm

• Clean, sanitize, vacuum, and prepare vehicle interior according to industry‑standard protocols.
• Wash, clean, and dry the vehicle's exterior – including cars, vans, and trucks.
• Check fuel level and warning lights; inspect windshield for damage; reset/restore vehicle settings to clear prior customer data; check for customer items and place any of value in lost & found; verify that registration is present, current and matches the license plate.
• Check fluid levels and add as needed; check tire condition, pressure and tread depth; inspect vehicle exterior for damage.
• Fuel and stage vehicle.
• Inspect vehicle for safety concerns; report any warning lights or damages; pull vehicle out of the prep processing as necessary.
• Maintain a clean and orderly work area and report any unsafe or hazardous conditions.
• Operate tools such as carpet shampoo machines or air purifiers to eliminate stains, pet hair, and odors.
• Assist customers when needed; may transport customers to and from the branches.
• Help maintain overall site appearance, including general cleaning of interior and exteriors of branch locations (desktops, countertops, phones, floors, trash, bathrooms, vacuuming, sweeping the lot and other miscellaneous tasks related to the daily cleanliness of the branch).

• Seek to improve job performance through self‑assessment, skill development, training and goal setting.
• Maintain a regular and reliable level of attendance and punctuality.
• Perform miscellaneous job‑related duties as assigned.

• Valid Ontario G or G2 driver's license with no more than 2 moving violations and/or at‑fault accidents in the past 3 years.
• No drug or alcohol related conviction on driving record in the past 5 years.
• Authorized to work in Canada and not require work authorization sponsorship.
• Able to lift 25 pounds to assist customers.
• Must be able to work the schedule:
  Tuesday – Thursday, 7:30 am – 5:00 pm;
  Saturday, 8:00 am – 12:30 pm.
• At least 18 years old.
• Comfortable driving larger vehicles including cargo vans and box trucks.
