Champion safety in Windsor, ON as an Environmental and Safety Coordinator with Ellis Don. Implement training, perform inspections, and uphold health standards on-site.
As part of Ellis Don’s dedicated team, you will manage health and safety protocols for a minimum of 2–4 years within construction environments. This on-site role requires conducting thorough inspections, organizing vital training programs, and ensuring regulatory compliance to secure worker safety. Your proactive approach in identifying and mitigating hazards will be essential.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct and coordinate safety orientations and inspections
• Organize essential training programs like WHMIS and CPR
• Monitor safety compliance among all on-site personnel
• Identify preventive measures for hazardous situations
• Ensure adherence to safety regulations and procedures
Requirements:
• 2–4 years of relevant experience in construction safety
• NCSO certification or working towards it
• A valid driver’s license and ability to travel
• Degree in Occupational Health & Safety preferred
• COR process certification experience beneficial
