Be a key player in safety management as a Construction Health, Safety, and Environmental Coordinator with Ellis Don in Windsor, ON. This full-time position is focused on compliance, training, and hazard identification.
As the HS&E Coordinator, your role involves ensuring the highest safety standards on construction sites. You will conduct orientations, perform site inspections, and prepare accident reports. Additionally, you will be responsible for training sessions on vital safety topics to ensure every worker understands their responsibilities in maintaining a safe environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead safety orientation and site inspections
• Prepare and document accident and injury reports
• Organize essential safety training for workers
• Monitor worksite compliance and address issues
• Identify potential hazards and advocate for safety practices
Requirements:
• 2-4 years of experience in construction safety management
• Certification under Occupational Health & Safety Act
• College degree in safety or related fields preferred
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel
• COR certification experience considered beneficial
