Lead railway systems construction for ACCIONA’s Eglinton Crosstown West Extension in Ontario, coordinating installation, safety, quality, and commissioning readiness.
The Systems Construction Manager oversees systems delivery across this 9.2-kilometre light rail extension. Responsibilities span constructability reviews, procurement packages, contractor management, field coordination, testing support, and handover. The role leads multidisciplinary managers covering signaling, traction power, communications, and SCADA.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead railway systems construction activities throughout the project lifecycle
- Coordinate civil handovers, track access, logistics, and staging
- Manage contractors, work plans, permits, claims, and variations
- Enforce safety controls, quality plans, and LOTO protocols
- Transfer completed packages with verified as-built documentation
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, or equivalent technical field
- At least 10 years’ major infrastructure construction management experience
- At least five years leading multidisciplinary rail systems installation
- Experience with design-build or progressive design-build delivery
- Knowledge of OHSA, CEC, and Metrolinx or TTC rules
