Elementary Teacher Position

Position: Permanent Elementary Teacher Position
Location: Kingsville

The Windsor-Essex Catholic District School Board has a permanent Elementary teaching opportunity for the  year. Eligible licensed teachers are invited to apply through the OECTA Occasional Teachers Roster.

This position is available exclusively to applicants holding an Ontario Teacher's Certificate in Good Standing. In line with OECTA Central Terms, the Board will interview qualified candidates based on their qualifications recorded with the Ontario College of Teachers. This includes potential candidates who are currently permanent teachers elsewhere in the province.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teach diverse elementary subjects to students

• Develop and implement engaging lesson plans

• Assess and monitor student progress regularly

• Collaborate with staff to support student needs

• Maintain a safe and inclusive classroom environment

Requirements:

• Ontario Teacher's Certificate in Good Standing

• Listed on the OECTA Occasional Teachers Roster

• Proven teaching experience in elementary education

• Commitment to equity and inclusion in teaching

• Portfolio submission required for application
