We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Childhood Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to fostering a nurturing and stimulating environment for young children. This role involves creating engaging lesson plans, facilitating educational activities, and ensuring the overall well‑being of each child in the classroom. The Early Childhood Teacher will play a crucial role in shaping the early learning experiences of children, helping them develop essential skills and a love for learning.
Duties
Develop and implement age‑appropriate lesson plans that promote cognitive, social, and emotional development.
Educate children through play‑based learning activities that encourage exploration and creativity.
Manage classroom dynamics effectively to create a positive learning environment.
Communicate regularly with parents about their child's progress and any concerns.
Maintain accurate records of each child's development and behavior.
Collaborate with other educators to enhance the overall educational experience.
Utilize time management skills to balance multiple tasks efficiently throughout the day.
Foster an inclusive atmosphere by supporting bilingual education, particularly for children who speak English and French.
Requirements
CPR and First Aid
Police clearance vulnerable sector
Negative TB test.
Rece in good standing
Safe food handlers certificate
Transportation
Experience working with young children in an educational setting is preferred.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage effectively with children and parents.
Time management skills to ensure smooth classroom operations.
Ability to create a warm, welcoming, and safe classroom environment conducive to learning.
Proficient in using technology for classroom management and educational purposes.
A genuine passion for educating young minds and contributing positively to their growth.
