Position: Dean of Education Leadership Role
Lead the Faculty of Education as the Dean, providing strategic guidance in teacher education and fostering collaboration. Drive inclusive governance and enhance research and community engagement.

The Dean of Education position reports to the Provost and involves overseeing significant changes in the faculty. You will champion equity, diversity, inclusion, and Indigenization principles while facilitating an environment conducive to teaching and research excellence. Your leadership will influence policy, student learning, and faculty recruitment within a complex educational landscape.

Key Responsibilities:

• Champion equity, diversity, and inclusion principles

• Provide strategic leadership and policy guidance

• Oversee financial management and responsible resource allocation

• Advance scholarship, research, and innovation culture

• Cultivate relationships with stakeholders and represent the university

Requirements:

• PhD in Education or related field

• Significant academic leadership experience

• Understanding of teacher education and accreditation

• Proven financial and operational management experience

• Commitment to equity and community engagement
